Does Money Buy Happiness??

Seems very difficult to come to particular conclusion !

I have read few research carried out by some education institution on above topic but none of research is strongly supporting this.

Many research conducted among extremely rich and poor people saying that happiness level in rich people was more than people are poor. So Researchers concluded that richer people have more happiness.

But on the other side researches are saying that happiness is depends on the how individual are achieving his or her goal in day to day life.If person is successful in achieving his/her goal then they found more satisfactory & happy than those who fails to attain their goal. There may be thousands of such research which is contradicting each other on above topic.

What i feel is :

I am supporting second research which says happiness is depends on how individual achieves his/her goals.
Every individual have there own set of goal may be rich people have higher standard of goal & poor people have lower standard of goal or vise a versa. They may be happy if they attain their establish goals. Money always not be a factor in achieving individual's goal, it’s solely depends on the type of goal he/she has set.
It’s up to every individual that from where he/she is getting happiness. It may happen that richest people may have everything but he/she does not have physical fitness and they are striving for the same. And at other end poor people may have all the physical fitness but he doesn’t have Good Home, Car, money etc.
So happiness is depends on what you are striving for???? Is it attainable to you or its far away from you ? ..... Unless and until you don't get what you are striving for you are not happy person in this world. So more far you are from your goal, unhappier you are.

So please be realistic & set your goal according to the ground reality and surrounding environment in which you are living. Don't set goals which are next to impossible (I am not talking about "impossible" but "next to impossible"). So please be realistic while setting your goal.

Other thing I would like to mention which play very critical role in one's happiness is his/her social relationship (it includes relation with wife, parents, children, friends, relatives etc.). I have heard from many of my friends saying that wife/husband is playing very important role in one's happiness, up to what extent she/he understands you? , co-operates you in taking joint decisions? So success mantra of one's life is “to find good wife “. So start hunting for one who fits in your own criteria.

"It's much better advice, if you're looking for happiness in life, to try to find the right husband or wife rather than trying to double your salary."

Yes money can definitely buy material happiness there is no doubt in that, but material happiness is not everything. What plays more important role in one’s happiness is, one's social relation. Not having good relation (environment) at home can be a reason of depression & stress which are the biggest enemy of one’s happiness. Due to this stress & depression it may happen that it hampers your natural creativity & that can be a reason you earn less money and that makes you unhappy.

Its cycle you know.

Not having good social relation (environment) -> stress/depression/tension -> hamper creativity -> less money (than expected) -> unhappy life
(This will again spoil social relations)
And above cycle is goes on and on and on….. Forever.

One solution to be happy in this world is “To maintain Balance between personal and professional life". Person who learns to play this “Balance Game” would be the happier than who fails to learn.

What I feel is “happiness is directly proportional to one’s satisfaction level”.

But
“ Human is a social animal and who never get satisfied with whatever he/she has, they always want something more than what they have.
“ Yeh Dil Mange More !”
If I support my above statement then there would not be single person in this world who is fully satisfied and so would not be happiest.

I always ask one question to the people whom I meet “Is there any one alive who is happiest & satisfied all the way in this world?”

I am asking you "What you have to say on this???"

How to overcome corruption ?

The corruption exist in each and every field of society whether it is corporates , govt. organization, NGO's etc. So now its time to start thinking about how to deal with corruption ? and how to make tranparent system which gives justice to every individual.

So I must say there is need of corruption management in each and every systems.

Why people follow route of corruption?

The best answer of above question I can give is: “It’s the middle way both parties are agreeing to follow to get mutual benefit.” Corruption happnes because both party don’t want to live in to the boundry defined by law/traditions and want to gain mutual gain from each other.

If we really want to fight against corruption & want to stop/reduce corruption in our country then following are few possible ways it can be reduced.

  1. If each and every person of India become honest, neither takes money/any benefit unlawfully which motivate corruption nor he give money/other benefits unlawfully which motivates corruption.
  2. If people start believing in legal system and bound themselves by rules rather than following ways which creates corruption in the system.

  3. More and more sting operation needs to be encouraged, which exposes people involved in corruption and everyone involved in corruption & if it is proved needs to be punished to set and example.

  4. Education system should be developed in such a way that teaches every Indian individual a lesson of "Fight against corruption", how it affects our country, disadvantages of corruption, adverse effects of corruption etc. etc. (Have you ever found such kind of topics during your study? In my case. I say No. I don't know about you.). It helps every individual in judging the activity which can motivates corruption??. Management students needs to be tought subject called " Corruption Managment".
  5. Our Government system has been the root couse of corruption. Our governing system is too much hierarchical and that is why money which are actually allocated for betterment of poor are not reaching to them properly. Half the money is corrupted in the system.

  6. I think poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, unequal income distribution are another root cause for corruption. By improvement in mentioned factors we can reduce corruption in the whole systems automatically.

In Short Indian will be very close to "corruption free country" only if “Every Indian will become Responsible Indian”.

“So let’s come together and fight hard to corruption because if you follow it today it will benefit you but tomorrow it will destroy you because somebody else will play game of corruption, which will harm you and your family & even to whole INDIA.”

Are degrees worth more than work experience?

Do you think hands-on experience contributes more to one's knowledge than the degrees earned through theoretical training?

Answers to above question is always controversial. It’s very difficult to pass on any value judgment. There are examples/Evidences which are supporting both sides very strongly.
E.g. If we take example of Mr. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys then he is well qualified person. He holds Master of Engineering degree, while Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani was not much qualified.

According to me what I think is as below.

To be Successful one thing person require is in depth knowledge of his/her field.

There are main two ways in which person can get knowledge.

1. On his/her own (through his day to day experience.)
2. By attending school of college. (Studies).

As I said earlier core product required for success is in depth knowledge of particular field.

It depends on every individual how he/she learn things.

1. There are very few in the world that need not require much theoretical training by attending school or colleges. I must say all of them are: “God gifted gentle men”. They all learn from their day to day experience, if I say it in Management language its, “On the Job Training”.
Again it is up to individual, how he/she grasp during “On the Job Training”. These people learn through “Trial and error method” but sometime time required for this learning may be longer.

2. Rest of the world needs to attend theoretical training (through professional courses). They learn through case study methods. They drive virtual organizations through case studies .They learn from experts( Teachers) who already have knowledge of particular fields, So its always easy for professional to get acquainted with particular industry he/she targeting. He/she get to know about market situations (competition, Risk associated, good / bad strategies etc.) before he enters into his own business.

So in short no one can say confidently which one is better.

But one thing I would like to say here lastly
Now a days market trends have been changed. There is lots of competition out there (there is "dog eat dog competition") in the market, so gone are the days when there exist a very less competition and very high profit margins.

In short in this competitive world one can’t afford “trial and error method” directly in business without analyzing the entire situation professionally, professional qualification would be added advantage at every stage of business.

Experience is equally important for any person to be successful. We all are aware of tell “there is no better teacher than experience”. But only constraint in getting experience is its long process , Time frame of getting experienced one is quite long and time frame is very important variable in this competitive world. So one can’t afford to select the path which takes long time frame, and getting experienced is long term process as per me.
e.g. if we look at he example supporting both side of Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani & Mr. Narayan Murthy, the time frame in which Mr. Dhirubhai created wealth was little longer than time frame in which Mr. Narayana Murthy of Infosys crated wealth. There lies the difference between Degree holders & Experienced (who learned through trial and error method).

The advantage of getting professional degree is person can learn pro and cons of the industry learn from experienced people, industries past success/failure stories etc. So they know well how to deal in which situation. As they get experienced day by day they are becoming unbeatable.

So in this 21st century ultimate combination would be to have qualified degree and getting experienced day by day and moment by moment. Learn from surrounding environments, learn, learn and learn by any means. That is the only success formula in this dog eats dog competition.
This is what I feel as per my experience.
